Homemade brown sugar granola with slivered almonds and mini chocolate chips.
  1. Preheat the oven to 250-degrees.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the oats, nuts, and brown sugar.
  3. Add the brown sugar, maple syrup, oil, and salt and stir to combine.
  4. Pour onto 2 baking sheets.
  5. Cook for 1 hour stirring every 15 minutes to achieve an even color.
  6. Remove from oven and transfer to a bowl, add the raisins or chocolate chips.
  7. Store in a mason jar!
