Buttermilk Dressing
1 cup mayonnaise
1cup sour cream
1 cup buttermilk
½ cup olive oil
2 tbsp. Scallions, minced
½ clove garlic
2 tbsp. Fresh parsley, finely chopped
1 tbsp. Dried dill
½ tsp. Oregano
2 tbsp. Cider vinegar
1 tbsp. Lemon juice
1 tsp. Salt
2 tsp. Sugar
1 tsp. Black pepper
Combine in a blender and mix well to incorporate all the ingredients. Store refrigerated for up to one month in a Mason jar.
This dressing is amazing. We found it one day because we wanted a creamy dressing that was tasty and good for you, too. I changed it up a bit to our liking—the whole family loves it on a big salad with cucumbers, tomatoes , scallions and croutons.
