I can never follow the low carb diet for long. To pass on delicious, billowy, cheesy garlicky, goodness, such as these would be a crime! These are perfect for any side to a meal, casual enough for during the week, yet sophisticated for holidays, too.
These rolls can be made, baked, and frozen on your baking day to add to your frozen meal stash.
Directions:
Preheat oven to 375 F. Degrees.
Print off and follow the instructions for my Parker House Rolls up to the dough shaping.
Ingredients:
One whole bulb of garlic; each clove minced. Sprinkle the minced garlic with kosher salt and with the side of your knife, smashing the garlic to make a paste.
Dried Parsley
1 cup grated parmesan cheese
For these rolls, roll dough out to about 1/8″ and form a rectangle. Spread thin with softened butter, the garlic paste, and sprinkle with cheese and parsley.
Roll up beginning with the long side. Pinch closed, cut with a serrated knife and place on a greased baking sheet. Allow to rise for 20 minutes until slightly risen. Bake off for 12 minutes or until lightly browned.
Freezer Meals prep:
Bake, cool, and wrap in foil and place in freezer zip bag.
Another option is to freeze the rolls before you let them rise before baking. Cut and place on baking sheet and freeze for about an hour. Place the frozen rolls in a freezer bag and freeze until ready. Thaw on counter before baking at 375 F. Degrees for 12-15 minutes.
