This is by far one of the most picked foods asked for by my brood. I grew-up on this buttery, cheesy madness and it’s simply called, Buttered Noodles.
It’s quick, it’s easy, and it’s absolutely delicious! Perfect for lunch or dinner. Put Italian on your menu plan this week…
Ingredients: This recipe feeds my family of nine, cut recipe in half if your feeding smaller numbers.
- 1 1b. of noodles (feeds about nine people) I love the mini penne noodles and/or mostaccioli noodles; you can use any shape.
- 1/2 cup grated fresh Parmesan cheese
- 1 stick of butter
- 1 tsp. granulated garlic
- Salt and pepper to taste
How to Prepare:
Cook noodles according to directions. Drain. In a medium size pot, melt your butter, toss in your Parmesan cheese then put in your noodles. Sprinkle with the garlic and salt and pepper it to taste. Approx. 1 tsp. of each.
Ladle into bowls and top with freshly grated Parmesan and some fresh basil. YUMMO!
